This past Saturday, June 28, I had the pleasure of attending RAWR (Romance Atlanta Writers & Readers) at the stunning Columbus Convention & Trade Center in Downtown Columbus, GA—and wow, what an unforgettable day!
With over 100 incredible authors and vendors showcasing everything from spicy paranormal paperbacks to swoon-worthy merch, there was something for every romance lover to enjoy. The energy in the room was electric, and the event was truly a celebration of the passion and creativity that fuels our bookish community.
Even better? Over 700 tickets were sold, and proceeds from the event helped support the Georgia Police K9 Foundation, an organization that does amazing work for our four-legged heroes. Being part of something that gives back while doing what we love was the icing on the cake.
We reconnected with old friends, made new ones, and shared laughs and stories with fellow authors and readers alike. I was so grateful to meet readers who stopped by my table to chat, browse, and snag a few signed books. Every smile, selfie, and story swap reminded me why I love what I do.
To everyone who came out, supported indie authors, or just made us feel welcome—thank you. Your support means the world.
